Stage Audio Works

Meeting rooms, conferences and formation of the new building of this Namibian financial services group (Africa) have been equipped and integrated by Stage Audio Works with audio systems Audac, interactive displays Samsung and Crestron.

The Financial Services Group Capricorn, based in Namibia (Africa) has recently opened modern offices, of 3.258 m2 and named Capricorn Cornen, that house the company's data center; Bank Windhoek's in-house training facilities and various departments, Group's flagship brand.

One of the group's goals in the new building was to streamline and improve the video conferencing and audio conferencing experience in its nine meeting rooms, as well as in its four training classrooms, for which they turned to the audiovisual specialist Stage Audio Works (SAW)

In addition, The scope of the project encompassed the provision of a multi-purpose venue that required dynamic routing of audio and video sources to meet different needs, with the overall objective of improving both the flexibility and operability of unified communications (Uc) to promote better collaboration.

In addition, Ceiling speakers have been deployed throughout the venue QuickFit and Cira824 by Audac, supported by surface-mount speakers. The system is powered by a four-channel amplifier CAP448 from this manufacturer, while in the interactive classrooms, a soundbar has been opted for.

Joppie Maritz, Managing Director of SAW Namibia, explains that the choice of Audac is due to the fact that "we have had excellent results with its technology in similar projects. Its integration and operability ensures that installation times are reduced to a minimum, and proven reliability reduces the need for maintenance, which brings great advantages in a large-scale integration like this".

Interactive & Collaborative Systems

The video system has been equally important in this project to foster training and collaboration. SAW Namibia equipped Capricorn Corner with numerous displays to meet a variety of applications, depending on the location in the enclosure.

The building's three largest meeting spaces also add 4K-quality Apple TVs, while the conference room has a PTZ camera of Atlona to stream professional-quality video, with USB functionality that makes it easy to connect devices.

A soundbar is used for video capture in these spaces Poly Studio all-in-one, along with an auto-tracking camera solution with 4K HD quality and a 120º field of view.
