Telefónica and Qualcomm lay the foundations to promote XR and the metaverse
The collaboration between both companies seeks to grow the extended reality ecosystem by taking advantage Qualcomm Snapdragon Spaces; as well as training the teams Telefónica and to external innovation programs in hardware development, XR applications and services.
Telefónica y Qualcomm Technologies have announced a collaboration to strengthen their position in the future of extended reality (XR) and the metaverso.
They will work to grow the XR ecosystem, leveraging the developer platform Snapdragon Spaces XR and Telefónica's fixed and mobile network infrastructure. The agreement also includes the exploration of joint business opportunities and the launch of XR/metaverse products and services.
