The lights of Prolights are integrated into the architecture of the Montauban square
After the renovation of this French city square, Mosaico projectors have been installed Prolights, Equipped with custom-made gobos that map the building facade.
After four years of planning, the new National Square of Montauban, in France, has been inaugurated with new lighting based on the equipment Prolights Mosaico. The main challenge of this project was to find solutions that created a flexible and scalable installation and that, at the same time, fit into an especially rich but restrictive architectural environment.
Lights Districts, the company responsible for the project, proposed Prolights Mosaico projectors, equipped with custom-made gobos that mapped the building's façade. “These luminaires provide soft and warm white atmospheres on a daily basis and accompany the different night events throughout the year through a remote controllable DMX control system.”, states the team of Light Quarters.
Testing was performed during events by projecting a test pattern, to produce 'mask gobos' to map the building, without light falling on the windows.
The ground and fountain of the main square (including dry source, the water mirror and the mist water jets) were made with the Mosaico Jr luminaires that, in addition to its power and flexibility, They guarantee good visual comfort and perfect daytime insertion..
