Leonardo Optoma Museum

ZH406ST short throw laser projectors Optoma are used for the immersive exhibitions that this American museum offers its visitors, according to the project designed and integrated by Universal Exhibition Group.

Created by the Salt Lake City Nonprofit Community (Utah – EE.UU.), he Leonardo Museum opened its doors in 2011, since it was previously the city's public library, with the vision of fusing science, technology and art in experiences that inspire creativity and innovation in people of all ages and backgrounds.

To help create these multiple immersive experiences, UEG technicians and designers created a unique projection configuration using forty laser projectors and mirrors from the manufacturer Optoma

Specifically, Optoma short throw laser projectors have been installed ZH406ST to provide the high brightness and consistent color performance the space needed, dividiéndolo en una antesala donde los visitantes pueden obtener información sobre los artistas que se exhiben y en una gran galería inmersiva.

The latter has low walls of various sizes ranging from 2,5 y 3,6 meters high. An advantage of Optoma projectors is that they are very light, so they could be mounted directly to drywall ceilings, without using additional brackets or mounting that would have taken away more height.

Thanks to this it is also possible project directly onto walls and floors using projection paint instead of building frames and installing screens. Specifically, have been incorporated mirrors that are used to reflect some of the surfaces projected in hallways and other spaces.

The Optoma ZH406ST high-brightness short-throw laser projector is designed for continuous operation, maintenance free and can be installed in virtually any orientation.

Thanks to the short throw lenses of this team, the integration company had no problems reaching all surfaces, get the right distances to the screens and fill them appropriately with spectacular images.
