Christie projectors bring new Incheon experiences to life
A total of 11 laser projectors Christie DWU630-GS have been deployed in the main immersive experience hall and in the innovative Jemulpo Photo Studio of the Incheon Metropolitan City Museum.
The Incheon Metropolitan City Museum uses the Christie GS Series 1DLP Laser Projectors to offer two new initiatives in the immersive experience room and the Jemulpo Photo Studio.
Con 60 years of history, The Incheon Metropolitan City Museum has served as a cultural space for the citizens of and was reopened in July 2006 with even more spacious exhibition halls and facilities. Offers exhibitions to the public, musical performances and other cultural and social events.
Near Incheon Palmido Island, The museum allows visitors to learn about the history of the city and enjoy the view of the ocean. The exhibition halls outline its history through different periods, including port opening and after release.
Created under the motto 'Incheon running through time', This South Korean public museum offers various multimedia art content and immersive experiences that highlight history, the culture and economic and social development of the city and its historic district of Jemulpo.
A total of 11 Christie laser projectors DWU630-GS have been deployed in the main room of immersive experiences and in the innovative Jemulpo Photo Studio. These equipment were supplied by Christie's partner, SNC Alliance, while the installation and commissioning have been the responsibility of the Mega Link systems integrator.

Visitors can admire highly detailed images projected on a three-sided wall of the immersive experience room using 10 Christie DWU630-GS laser projectors mounted discreetly overhead.
Among the contents, 'Jemulpo opens the door to modernity' stands out., which captures the rapid development and progress of the district. Founded in 1883 with the opening of the port of this district that houses several historical and cultural monuments that laid the foundation for the expansion and development of Incheon.
Another highlight is the visual presentation titled ‘Incheon, where the earth meets the sky and the sea', in which visitors are transported to a world of visual splendor as they witness in detail the city's transformation into an air transportation hub, world-class maritime and land.
The projections show a display of the city's emblematic places, as well as Incheon International Airport and its port.
Jemulpo Photo Studio, another newly created space within the museum, features a Christie DWU630-GS laser projector to display an interactive multimedia art experience through photo taking and edutainment experience known as 'Incheon Independence Movement': Listening to Kim Gu and Hong Jin', that can detect and respond to visitors' movements.

Available in various brightness options up to 14.250 lumens, produces a high full on/off contrast ratio of 4.000.000:1 with Christie RealBlack technology that makes visuals jump off the screen.
This series of projectors, Designed for applications requiring reliability and uninterrupted operation, It is ideal for venues such as museums, educational spaces and corporate environments. Some models incorporate warping and blending software Twist, compatibility with Christie Intelligent Camera and automated camera-based alignment tools Mystique, that make setup quick and easy, alignment, recalibration and maintenance of multiprojection systems.
