“On a purely practical level, We have the technical requirements related to our new tent. Pixera fit the bill, both in terms of versatility of features and overall return on investment. However, as we have many courses where our learners would benefit from gaining hands-on experience with a high-end media server platform like Pixera, Our interest goes beyond having a great emission system".

Long joined the faculty of RIT's School of Film and Animation in 2007, where he is also an associate professor in the Cinematic Science program.

“We want our students to create, collaborate and act together at the highest possible level. Pixera can serve as a bridge between our design courses, Film Production & Engineering. Our plan is to gradually introduce it into the curriculum, so that our students from different disciplines are empowered to turn their creative and technological ideas into a tangible reality.”
