SNA Displays builds a spectacular Led system for the Kennedy Space Center
Known as Kennedy Entry Experience, Empire's outdoor Led screen SNA Displays tells the story of NASA. With his 914 square meters, It is at ground level and has a smooth and perfect curve, with a narrow radius of 1,5 metros.
For entry to the visitor complex Kennedy Space Center, SNA Displays has built a spectacular Led system. Located at ground level, there is a screen 914 square meters offering personalized content designed to enhance the visitor experience and stimulate interest in space exploration.
Known as Kennedy Entry Experience, the Empire outdoor Led screen of 6,6 mm tells the story of the NASA: past, present and future. stomach 9×29,8 metros (1.368×4.464 pixels) with a smooth and perfect curve, and a narrow radius of 1,5 metros.
Anamorphic experience
Kennedy Entry Experience contains over six million pixels and is optimally designed for anamorphic content, creating 3D illusions from a certain point of view.
Blunt Action, a 3D animation studio, has developed a short film that represents the history of NASA and, now, is on display at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. With six minutes, is one of the anamorphic experiences longest of its kind and unites the most innovative hardware technology with the latest trends in digital art.
Security
In addition to presenting immersive content, live video and event messages, The spectacular LED is also integrated into the emergency system to alert park visitors of inclement weather events.
The screen is built with a steel structure designed to withstand winds of 150 mph and includes a lightning protection system over currents that occur during storms.
Additional storm protection includes drainage considerations within the display structure, as well as adequate drainage.
“The new Kennedy Entry Experience is one of the largest LED screens installed at ground level”, explains Jason Helton, executive vice president of SNA Displays. “This location is a very important piece of American history that represents momentum, perseverance and the desire to overcome the limits of technology and human excellence”.
In addition to developing visualization technology, SNA Displays is the exclusive sponsor of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Entry Experience.
Eastern Sign Tech has been in charge of the installation, while Ivey’s Construction has provided general contracting services.
SNA Displays has also provided Empire outdoor Led kiosks of 3,9 mm to welcome visitors to the complex and a videowall Bold Indoor Led 2,5 mm for the Trailblazers exhibition from the park.
