AV Stumpfl acudirá and LDI 2023 with the version 2.0 from Pixera and the Blackpeak screen surface
Attendees coming to Las Vegas will be able to learn about the multi-user workflow capability or Content Remapping feature of the new version of Pixera; and discover the new screen surface material of BY Stumpfl, Blackpeak, offering higher black levels and a better contrast ratio.
The Austrian audiovisual technology manufacturer BY Stumpfl will show at the fair LDI, which will be celebrated from 3 al 5 of December in the Las Vegas Convention Center, the new functions of the media server Pixera 2.0 and the new screen surface material Blackpeak.
One of the most notable features of the version 2.0 from Pixera is your multi-user workflow capability, which will allow media server operators to be much more flexible and efficient when working on complex installations or shows.
Users now have granular control over how they collaborate on Pixera projects. They can choose to share a part, such as a warp projection or editing a compositing timeline, or open the entire project to other users connected to the system.
Another notable feature of this new update is Content Remapping, which allows multiple areas to be defined within a content frame and positioned separately in the composition space. The use of rectangles, as well as freely editable polygons, allows positioning and turning, precisely, the parts of the pixel content. Mapping challenges that are best handled at the real content level can be easily mastered with this new feature.
Pixera is the exclusive sponsor of the training media server for the Battle of the Busk experience at this year's LDI.
Screen surface
AV Stumpfl will also introduce its newly rebranded Blackpeak black projection screen surface material (formerly known as Flex Black Pro).
With conventional screen surfaces, Projected images may sometimes appear 'washed out', due to ambient light, and even important details may disappear from the image. The new material for Blackpeak projection screens allows you to project very impressive images even in bright environments.
Its image reproduction quality is comparable to that of Lrf displays and other light-emitting display technologies.
Todd Liedahl, president de AV Stumpfl, underlines the great potential of Blackpeak. “Offers high black levels and a great contrast ratio, even in ambient light environments. Unlike the white surfaces of projection screens, It is also very discreet during times when no content is projected. Our tests show that very high power projectors are not needed to achieve great results with this innovative product.”.
