Jeroen van der Most will create interactive art at ISE 2024

The Dutch digital artist will participate as a speaker during the second day of the celebration of WHEREAS 2024 and will offer attendees a vision of the evolution of the relationship between art and technology.

Jeroen van der Most has confirmed his attendance as keynote speaker for the second day of WHEREAS 2024, which will be celebrated from 30 from January to 2 February 2024 in Fira Barcelona Gran Vía. Known for his innovative approach to art, has been at the forefront of data integration, algorithms and artificial intelligence in your creative projects from 2010 for organizations like Amnesty International, NVIDIA, NH Hotels, Sogeti and Nike – Footlocker.

His work not only explores the creative possibilities of new technologies, but also challenges and redefines the understanding of technology itself. This digital artist's art has been exhibited in venues as diverse as ZKM Karlsruhe, CES Las Vegas, Dutch Design Week, Museum De Lakenhal, Enghien les Bains Arts Center, Amsterdam KunstRai y AAF Hong Kong.

An ISE 2024, the Dutchman Jeroen will present his keynote lecture on Wednesday 31 from January to 17:15 hours in the pavilion auditorium 4. They are keynote promises to be one of the many highlights of this 20th anniversary edition, and will offer attendees a vision of the evolution of the relationship between art and technology.

This digital artist captivates audiences with talks that combine cutting-edge artistic technologies - from AI to quantum computing and NFTs- on visual trips. Creative mind

In this exhibition titled “Bee Barcelona”, Jeroen will build an AI-based replica of his creative mind, taking the audience on an immersive journey through their thoughts. A distinctive aspect of the performance involves merging your AI mind with that of a bee, with the aim of redesigning and transforming the city of Barcelona into a symbolic hive.

“The key motivation for working on this project is, one more time, move away from 'ordinary' AI supercharged by mere productivity and profit, and design an AI closer to nature, more modest and more surprising when it comes to finding design ideas”, comments Jeroen.
