AVPro Edge Introduces a GE Ethernet Hybrid Switch to the AVPro Market

The new switch 10 Gigabit Ethernet, designed by AVPro Edge for the professional audiovisual market, offers 8 ports with PoE++ output capability and 16 ports with PoE+. All optimized for Dante audio streams.

AVPro Edge has presented the AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C, and hybrid PoE++/PoE+ switch 24 ports and 10 Gigabits, the first of its kind for professionals in the audiovisual sector, offering high performance and reliability.

Priority for AES67, Dante and SDVoE

The AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C is pre-configured with quality of service settings (QoS) optimized for AES67 multicast, Dante and SDVoE. These prioritize AV multicast packets over the rest of the network traffic, minimizing latency and eliminating packet loss to ensure uninterrupted, high-quality multicast performance.

AVPro has implemented specific QoS presets for Dante and SDVoE traffic, improving AV-o-IP performance in residential and commercial installations.
