Vigan, on the west coast of the island of Luzon, It is the only city in the Philippines recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage City. The City Council wanted to install a system that would facilitate the holding of international conferences such as the meeting of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC). It was important that the aesthetics of the historic town hall building were not compromised . They also wanted a flexible solution that could be used in local meetings.

The new solution was specified and installed by smart building technology specialists Comsec iTech and includes 41 wireless devices with long stem microphones, a single wireless access point, recording software, Lithium-ion battery packs and chargers and carrying cases.
