The Dubai Aquarium is renovated with an INFiLED screen of 64 million pixels

Already considered the largest indoor LED screen in the emirate, this enormous visual system of INFiLED, of 980 m2, is configured with MV and MV-Edge series panels, with a pixel pitch of 3,9 mm.

He Dubai Aquarium, one of the largest suspended in the world and located on the ground floor of the largest shopping center in the emirate, has made a major visual update with the installation of a huge indoor Led screen, of 70×14 metros, located in the atrium of the shopping center and configured by INFiLED with panels of the series MV y MV-Edge.

With a LED display surface of 980 m2 and a pixel pitch 3,9 mm, This indoor Led screen offers a total of 64 million pixels, which makes it the largest installed in Dubai, after the iconic Burj Khalifa, also owned by Emaar Properties.

For this project, Emaar has had the AV specialist as its technological partner Blue Rhine Industries, who selected INFiLED technology, since it offered a perfect curve at both ends to respond to its main objective: show not only advertising, but to offer information of interest in this important environment.

Samer Otaibi, vp. INFiLED sales in the Middle East, explains that “collaborating with Emaar always requires meeting high standards, as they constantly set benchmarks to outperform the competition. “We are delighted to have our flagship indoor Led screen installed in Dubai Mall”.

In that line, John Joseph, Sales Director at Blue Rhine Industries, points out that “embarking on the installation on a live aquarium, within a dynamic shopping center environment, presented complex challenges that required specialized expertise”.

Among these challenges, Joseph highlights that “we operate exclusively during night hours. The team executed the project with precision, navigating the complexities to minimize disruption to the delicate living aquatic ecosystem. Prioritizing fish welfare required a unique combination of technical competence and conscientious execution throughout the process.”.

As he emphasizes Hazim Omari, consultant AV de Emaar, “We love creating great shows and this one had to be special: a large Led screen located inside the heart of Dubai Mall, in an atrium with a large influx of public and on top of one of our main attractions. We had specific criteria for the installation and operation of this system, and our partners and the project team have risen to the challenge”.
