At the new London headquarters of Halkin, Taurus UCX solutions powered by USB-C from Lightware (UCX-4×2-HC40) have been implemented in eight meeting rooms.

This workspace, located in the heart of the City of London's financial district, It has undergone an extensive refurbishment to revolutionise the meeting room experience. Tateside has installed four Taurus UCX universal switches powered by USB-C power from Lightware (UCX-4×2-HC40) in all eight meeting spaces, from meeting rooms that can accommodate up to four people to larger boardrooms that can accommodate up to 20 Delegates.

Leveraging Lightware Technology, the solution offered an easy-to-use BYOM platform to host a variety of meetings, Presentations & Collaborative Sessions, For users with any level of technical expertise.

With Taurus UCX, Tateside has ensured optimal USB-C connectivity for users to connect their devices effortlessly, providing a streamlined and efficient meeting experience with easy host switching and utilizing data rates of up to 5 Gbps under USB 3.1 Gen1.

Halkin's meeting rooms now feature crystal clear video and audio, with Lightware's Taurus UCX that enables 4K@60Hz switching to 4:4:4. This ensures that virtual participants feel like they're in the room, which helps foster communication and collaboration.

In all meeting spaces in the King William Street office, users can rest assured that their devices won't run out of power with the Taurus charging capacity of up to 100 W (120 W in total). They also enjoy a full and secure Ethernet connection. At Halkin's Offices, LARA has replaced the previous automation technology, Used to control endpoints such as TVs, and has provided advanced switching flexibility.
