Martin Professional presents the high-performance pixel-batten VDO Sceptron XB

The new addition to the pixel-batten Led family of Martin Professional, VDO Scepter XB, offers improved lumen output, precise light quality and simplified control.

Harman Professional Solutions has announced the launch of Martin VDO Scepter XB: and pixel-batten Led compact and high performance, Designed for both lighting and creative video applications.

Following the line of the Martin VDO Sceptron family, inherits all the benefits of the family, as an easy to use mapping, a simplified exchange of diffusers and lenses, and a wide range of mounting accessories available, and then take performance and usability to the next level.

VDO Sceptron XB raises the bar with improved lumen output, Greater wiring freedom and the ability to be controlled like a lighting fixture via Art-Net y sACN, and as a video device via Martin P3, or both simultaneously. Although it is compact and lightweight, It is brighter than its predecessor, from VDO Sceptron 10, with more than twice the white light output and up to five times the saturated color output.

The use of Led RGBW results in a better spectrum (CRI, TM-30, TLCI), compared to traditional RGB pixel-battens, which makes it ideal for precise illumination of people, sets and other focus areas. Improved control options make this device easy to deploy, with or without a P3 system controller.

The VDO Sceptron XB also features extended range calibration ensuring consistent white performance, offering color and tint temperature control, while saturated colors remain rich and deep. P3 Mix channel further enhances your versatility, allowing smooth transitions between video and lighting control.

Additional features include a wide range of built-in effects macros, a standalone mode for applications without a controller and a complete set of optical and mounting accessories, allowing designers to use the series for a variety of uses and mounting configurations.

The IP65 rating VDO Sceptron XB expands its design capabilities, making it perfect for a variety of temporary indoor and outdoor applications and its built-in sleep mode increases energy efficiency by reducing power consumption when not in use.

It has the same form factor as its previous model and generates the same type of effect, so it can be easily integrated into designs to obtain the same results as previous applications. It is also compatible with the diffusers and mounting accessories of its predecessor.

VDO Sceptron XB more than doubles the white lumen output of its previous model, allowing it to function as a “lighting device” and not only as a “decorative LED strip”, while color output has increased further.

To achieve maximum flexibility, can be used as a lighting fixture with Art-Net and sACN, as a video device using the Martin P3 control, or both and at the same time through P3 Mix.
