Bose adds two new models to its line of AMU multipurpose speakers

AMU108-120 and AMU208-120 are the new models that Bose Professional has incorporated into this line of compact speakers designed for indoor and outdoor use.. They offer integrators, consultants and engineers a versatile combinable solution for large distributed and small to medium sized systems.

Bose Professional has added two models to its line of AMU multipurpose speakers, AMU108-120 and AMU208-120, plus two new mounting accessory options.

These additions extend the flexibility of the AMU series, offering wider coverage options while maintaining high-powered sound, Vocal clarity and musical depth make it ideal for a variety of applications.

“We designed the AMU series to be scalable and meet the diverse needs of both large distributed audio systems as in small to medium sized ones”, explica Shawn Watts, director of product management at Bose Professional. “With multiple driver configurations, Flexible mounting options and colors, This line offers virtually unlimited installation and coverage possibilities for indoor and outdoor use.. Combine performance and speech intelligibility with simplified installation, and are suitable for spaces such as bars, restaurants, gyms, auditoriums, lobbies, theme parks and public areas”.

The new AMU108-120 features a constant directivity trumpet with a redesigned waveguide, offering wide, even coverage of 120×60 degrees. It is equipped with a Bose Professional LF8 woofer. 8 inches, that produces 121 dB of peak SPL and a frequency response of 80 Hz a 16 kHz.

Model AMU208-120, larger size, provides the same 120x60 degree high frequency coverage, combined with dual Bose Professional LF8 woofers 8 inches. This configuration offers a peak SPL of 126 dB and a frequency response of 70 Hz a 16 kHz.

AMU Series mounting accessories also offer expanded installation possibilities and include a new pole adapter and new rail hanging brackets., as well as supports in the form of “U” stainless steel, surface mount pan and tilt brackets, and single point suspension brackets with multi-angle attachment points.

All AMU series speakers come with a UV resistant finish and a IP55 rating for outdoors, so there's no need for custom orders or weather surcharges.

To improve the performance of AMU systems, Users can add the MB210-WR weatherproof dual subwoofer from 10 inches. Besides, los PowerShareX amplifiers offer optimized factory presets for maximum AMU performance and easy installation.
