Extron Quantum DTP3

The new IN4DTP3 and OUT4DTP3 Quantum I/O cards from Extron offer everything needed for Quantum Ultra II systems to integrate into a wide range of environments, from educational environments and presentations to government and utility command centers.

Extron has added new input and output cards to its line Quantum DTP3, for long distance signal extension in video wall systems. These are the IN4DTP3 and OUT4DTP3 models..

The Quantum IN4DTP3 is a four-input card that eliminates the need for DTP3 receivers when source devices are at a great distance from the Quantum Ultra II processor. Each input on this card allows the choice of twisted pair or HDMI formats, and power allows remote powering of DTP3 or DTP transmitters.

For your part, the card Quantum OUT4DTP3 It has four DTP3 outputs, eliminating the need for DTP3 transmitters when displays are at a great distance from the processor. Each DTP3 output features a corresponding buffered HDMI output to support local display devices, streaming or recording equipment, and possibility of remotely powering DTP3 or DTP receivers.

Both cards support up to 4K/60 signals at distances of up to one hundred meters. Configured with Quantum DTP3 input and/or output cards, los Quantum Ultra II videowall processors simplify signal extension for your projects in large venues and critical environments.

“System designers and integrators were looking for a simple way to extend signals for remote sources and video wall displays., and now it is possible", states Rainer Stiehl, Vice President of Marketing, Extron Europe. “The new Quantum DTP3 I/O cards offer everything needed for Quantum Ultra II systems to integrate into a wide range of environments.”, from educational centers and community presentations to government and public service command centers”.

Quantum IN4DTP3 and Quantum OUT4DTP3 cards provide system flexibility and simplify signal extension. Twisted pair format can be selected per channel between DTP3 modes, DTP y XTP, allowing system designers to choose the most appropriate technology for the application.

Embedded audio can be managed between input and output cards or sent to a Dante network when combined with an OUT32AT Quantum card. For controlling peripheral devices, RS-232 signals can be inserted from the Quantum Ultra II Ethernet control port, which simplifies the remote control of sources. To optimize the video wall system, Power enables remote powering of DTP3 or DTP endpoints.

Quantum Ultra II is the next generation of video wall processors from Extron, offering advanced connectivity and performance capability for the future. He HyperLane video bus offers real-time performance of up to 500 Gbps. HDMI 4K PLUS input and output cards, FOX3 and DTP3 have connections of 18 Gbps supporting resolutions up to 4K/60a 4:4:4 HDCP compliant 2.3.

8K/60 sources can be processed as a four-path signal. Audio from the embedded source can be routed to each active canvas or to a Dante network.

The processor supports up to 20 canvases with mixed resolutions and screen orientations. Features like support for vertical and horizontal output, Output overlay and custom output resolutions ensure screen compatibility. Las interfaces RS-232, USB and Ethernet provide direct connection to control systems.
