Toshiba will take IBC 2025 a storage system 1,4 PB
On his return to this contest, which is celebrated from 12 al 15 September in Amsterdam, Toshiba will surprise professionals with a storage system that breaks the petabyte barrier and a desktop RAID drive of 100 TB with direct USB connection.
The manufacturer Toshiba Electronics Europe has decided to participate in the fair again International Broadcasting Convention (IBC), where it will present in its imminent edition 2025 important news in your space (pavilion 2 – stand C15) for the storage of digital content in the multimedia and broadcast sectors that are the protagonists of this event.
Specifically, professionals will be able to see their new multimedia storage system that breaks the Petabyte barrier (PB), with a capacity of 1,4 PB, built with 60 Toshiba 24TB HDDs.
This storage cluster it is the basa of a ZFS and is designed for streaming apps, post-production and editing. The system is powered by trusted manufacturer partners, as Open-E, provided by Jovian DSS software; ACT, with host bus adapters and network interface cards, y Promise Technology, that provides its top-loading JBOD chassis with 60 high-density drive bays.
