Robe participates in Oosterpoort's transition to LED technology

Spot is an organization created to manage musical productions in two busy venues in the city of Groningen (Netherlands): Oosterpoort and the main theater of the municipality, City Theater.

Last year, the small and main hall received a total of 32 new Fortes Dress equipped with HCF engine (High Color Fidelity) y 32 lights Spiider Led wash to enrich your palette of creative lighting tools.

This is the third update of mobile lighting and the first in which an important change is implemented with Robe equipment.

Binnenzaal is a special space, intimate but full of energy, which hosts a wide range of musical performances and is known for its great atmosphere, which is now reinforced with the arrival of 14 Robe moving lights Painte y 8 LEDBeam 350.

When carrying out the renovation, they opted for Robe Painte luminaires because “it was solid lighting with good specifications that met all the requirements.””, explica Henk. For your part, lighting designer Jack Rozema recommended LEDBeam 350 and comments how these two luminaires “are usually specified together and complement each other perfectly.”.

Four of the new Painte profiles are used for front lighting, covering the stage of 7 meters wide and 5 meters deep, while the rest are installed in one of the upper bars of the stage. This location illustrates the adaptability of the luminaire. “They are also great for dance parties and events, They are very good multipurpose lights and, in my opinion, one of the best in Robe's current range”, Jack points out..

Last year, when modernizing the main and small room, The final lighting selection was based on a series of comparisons, for which Controllux, Robe distributor in Benelux, had the participation of the manufacturer.
