Biamp supplies public address and background music to a hotel in Perth

Biamp, has been in charge of the implementation of its solution public address system and background music on Vocia network in a hotel located in the center of Perth (Australia).

Installed by the audiovisual integrator Integrate Perth, the platform Voices of Biamp, brand that distributes AVIT Vision, offers precise control and optimal audio distribution in the hotel's large spaces.

The venue includes two floors of restaurants, lobby areas, an upstairs bar with multiple entertainment areas and a DJ booth with audio input. It all requires precise control and perfect audio distribution across dozens of background music and public address zones..

Initially conceived with a traditional fixed input-output digital signal processor system, The project design evolved as the scale and complexity of the precinct became clearer..

“When we analyze the project, we realized that Vocia was perfect. We needed multiple public address zones, Flexible background music layout and easy control for end users. The Biamp system met all the requirements”, explains Andrew Anderson-King, Integrate Perth Sales Director.

“The advantage of Vocia is that we were able to effectively deploy a multi-channel amplifier anywhere in the hotel over the network. Thence, we were able to run traditional high or low impedance audio from each amplifier to its respective zone. Vocia provided a good solution in terms of implementation, installation, scheduling and flexibility”, adds Andrew Anderson-King.
