Elation lighting impacts the opening of the E-Sports World Cup (ewc)
Creative Technology Middle East (CTME) once again demonstrated its top-level technical expertise at the opening ceremony of the E-Sports World Cup (ewc) held at the ANB Arena in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) offering a stunning visual experience with the support of almost 600 lighting devices Elation.
LA EWC 2025 brought together more than 2.500 players from all over the world, who competed for a total prize of 70 million dollars. Headlined by rapper and singer Post Malone and EDM star Alesso, the inaugural event, full of stars, celebrated weeks of high-level competition with a spectacular production that fused LED panels, projection and lighting in a cohesive cinematic spectacle.

Integrated into the stage floor and upper triangular beams, The LED system worked in combination with the stage projection deployed on custom-made triangular structures. The effect was of great depth and layered mountain peaks.
In collaboration with Tait, Mdlbeast and an elite creative team of Possible Productions Visual Noise, 22 Degrees y Wieder Design Studios, CTME supplied LED screens, projection mapping and lighting, supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure for large-scale production.

The massive lighting rig included a powerful array of 200 Proteus Maximus, 182 Pulse Panel FX y 191 Pulse Bar L. The head of lighting at CTME, Sam Connolly, praises the Elation team for helping achieve the show's visual identity: “Elation devices performed exceptionally well. They proved to be reliable, bright and versatile during rehearsals and the show, contributing significantly to the visual impact and creative execution of the production».
LED moving heads Proteus Maximus high-power profiles served as main profiles, placed between the series of triangular trusses and distributed throughout the enclosure. “This setup gave us the flexibility to light any area or highlight specific moments as needed throughout the show.”, explica Connolly.
The units Pulse Panel FX, integrated in line with the LED bars, provided high power strobe capability with continuous pan/rotation and 180° tilt. Connolly commented that “The PULSE PANEL's tilt and swivel functionality added dynamic movement and unique visual energy to the performance”.

Color Sync
Both the Pulse Panel FX and the Pulse Bar L incorporate RGB LEDs of 1,5 W with CW LED strobes 5 W in multiple customizable zones and feature the same effects engine and control capabilities.
