Athens opens the 'Europa Experience' center' con Nunsys Group

The Spanish technology consultancy Nunsys Group intervenes as technical supplier of the new 'Europa Experience' center’ in Athens, in a project in which the Asturian has also participated Proasur.

The installation, inaugurated on 28 February by the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, has been executed through the UTE made up of Spanish companies Nunsys Group y Proasur, main contractors in 2023 of the tender for the European Parliament endowed with 46,7 million euros (maximum volume) to supply advanced technology and exhibition furniture to the Europa Experience spaces until the end of 2027.

As part of this alliance, Nunsys Group provides and integrates all the hardware and communications infrastructure that makes the multimedia experience possible, while Proasur materializes the scenography and fit-out. The Europa Experience exhibition narrative is signed by Atelier Brückner, German study specialized in museography that accumulates 350 awards and 220 narrative architecture projects, based on content prepared by the Parliament and the European Commission, project co-responsible.

Europa Experience is a network of exhibitions located in prominent cities on the continent whose objective is bring the functioning of the European Union closer to citizens in a didactic way, visual and immersive through interactive spaces, educational games, virtual reality, o events and activities aimed at all ages.

The initiative currently has 17 operational centers in enclaves like Strasbourg, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Roma, Paris or Berlin, in addition to the recently inaugurated one in the Hellenic capital. All of them offer free individual and group visits, with contents in the 24 official European languages and have tours with adapted accessibility to show visitors in an experiential way how decisions are made in Europe, how Parliament works, the Commission and the Council, and how European citizens can participate in the democratic process.

Strategic alliance

To date, The joint venture owned by Nunsys Group has carried out the complete installation of six headquarters Europa Experience in 2024 y 2025 (Dublin, Luxembourg, Prague, Zagreb and Budapest, besides Athens) and has enabled new exhibition stations or offered maintenance services in the 11 locations that were already in operation (Ljubljana, Tallin or Stockholm, inter alia). Note that for next year, The technology company has new destinations such as The Hague on the horizon, Bratislava o Sofia, whose openings are scheduled for 2026.
