The producers of Heaven and earth They wanted the audience to feel immersed in the universe of the play from the moment they entered the theater lobby.. For this, commissioned the Berlin comic illustrator Fufu women's choice a series of drawings that offer a visual tour of Cologne, conceived as a gallery-type exhibition environment.

The company al-media has been in charge of giving technical life to this creative vision, which has been configured around Led screens arranged on vertical pillars, that guide the spectators from the real city outside to the inside of the theater.

The installation had to increase the expectation before the performance and, at the same time, respect the historical character of the building. Despite the challenges posed by its theater architecture, plus a very tight schedule, The project was executed smoothly thanks to the rapid availability of Led screens de INFiLED, stored in its European logistics center in Rotterdam, and to his local technical support.

From the beginning of creative development, The al-media team had only three months to design, supply, install and test the entire system, which had to be done during the performance season, minimizing any interference with the daily activity of the theater and ensuring that all elements could be dismantled without leaving a trace.

The age and structure of the theater building added complexity to the project: uneven walls made cable routing and management difficult and ruled out the use of fixed structures. Besides, Led screens had to offer a excellent image quality at close range, enable precise synchronization of content throughout the lobby and operate reliably during daily performances.

For the immersive visual project, almost 70 m² of Led screens, formed by 331 cabinets configured as vertical pillars distributed throughout the lobby. Each of them has a ultra-slim profile 29,5 mm, which facilitated its installation on irregular walls without the need for bulky structures.
