PMC's new range of studio monitors debuts in Spain at ISE with Soundware Media
Within the framework of its 35th anniversary, Professional Monitor Company (PMC) will present at Integrated Systems Europe 2026 a new generation of Main Monitors and subwoofers that consolidates its history as one of the reference brands in professional audio and high-level immersive playback.
Since its foundation, PMC has been closely linked to the creation of audiovisual content, participating in all phases of sound production: from dialogue editing and soundtrack recording to final mixing and mastering in Dolby Atmos. Three and a half decades of constant presence in top-level studios, as well as its collaboration with some of the main international platforms and post-production houses., have served as the basis for the development of this new family of main monitors.
The consolidation of Dolby Atmos as standard in cinema, streaming and music has significantly raised the demands on spatial precision, tonal coherence and dynamic range. The new ones Main Monitors de PMC They were born with the aim of reducing the distance between the way in which these contents are created and the way in which they are reproduced in theaters., immersive studios and installations, transferring to the listening environment the same criteria that are applied in the studios where the final mixes are validated.
One of the pillars of this development has been the treatment of the mid-range, a critical zone for clarity, the intelligibility and correct localization of sound objects.
The incorporation of the a-void technology, designed to absorb unwanted energy coming from the back of the transducer, allows for cleaner, more accurate playback, improving the coherence and naturalness of sound movement within a three-dimensional environment. This work is reinforced with the n-compass technology, ensuring uniform dispersion and consistent tonal behavior both inside and outside the listening axis. Thanks to it, sound movements throughout an Atmos system are perceived fluidly and continuously, while expanding the useful listening area, providing greater flexibility in the design of immersive systems.
In the field of low frequencies, The new SUBs incorporate long-stroke transducers that offer greater dynamic range, control and depth, adapting to the current demands of cinematographic and musical content, and facilitating system integration in rooms of different sizes and configurations.
A new level of clarity, control and capacity
Oliver Thomas, Co-CEO of PMC, comments that “launching a whole new family of main monitors on our 35th anniversary is, at the same time, a celebration and a declaration of intent.
