The Avixa Congress brings together Ibero-American representatives of the AV industry at ISE
More than thirty experts from Latin America and Spain participate in the Avixa Congress in Barcelona, in which virtual production, product design, AI and technology in the work environment focus the program, which is taught in Spanish and is free for those attending the event.
The new edition of Avixa Congress, organized by this AV and integration association, focuses one of the main activities carried out in the edition 2026 of WHEREAS in Barcelona, with an intense program taught in Spanish and free of charge, in which more than thirty experts from Latin America and Spain participate, consolidating itself as a key forum for the Ibero-American audiovisual industry.
Until the 5 February, of 15:00h a 18:00h, The Avixa Congress is held in the room CC5.2 of Fira Barcelona Gran Vía, with a total of twelve sessions, of forty minutes each, to which professionals registered with ISE will be able to attend free of charge to learn about relevant topics in AV integration, with special attention to the convergence between technology and human experience, in addition to presentations and interactive panels that will analyze the main trends in the sector.
on the panel Cine, entertainment and advertising: virtual production in all formats, the first day of the contest, has the participation of Isaac Bergada (Virtual Group MediaPro), Antoine Vaxelaire (APPIA), Xavi Canovas (Driving Studios) y Cristina Brandner (Audiovisual Park of Catalonia), to analyze how virtual production with Led stages removes barriers in the AV industry and offers scalable solutions for broadcasters, independent advertisers and creators.
The session Smart workspaces: technology, AI and the new language of collaboration, gathers Montse Romero (Arthur Holm), Felipe Henao (Zoom), Miquel Geeraerd (Jabra) y Ana Maria Restrepo (Avixa) to analyze How AI transforms workplaces, making them more intuitive and people-centered.
Carlos Lopez (LedDream Group) presents on Wednesday 3 February the conference New lighting narratives through digital lighting, to explain how digital lighting has evolved from functional to architectural, showing examples of technologies that allow designing dynamic environments and expressive in various spaces.
That same day, the session New professional roles in immersive experiences has Bernard Lozano (Flop Work), Ariane Sautreuil (Sourcing Unicorns), Esther Rovira (Barcelona XRLAB – Palo Alto) y Frédéric Sanz (University) to analyze creative and technical profiles that arise with immersive technologies, from 3D artists and Unity/Unreal developers to experience designers, sound engineers, writers and UX specialists.
He Thursday 5 February, Francisco Gaytan (Commo Photo) presents the session The power of technology to generate intentional emotions and behaviors, who shares his experience about chow technology, applied with purpose, can create environments that inspire and generate well-being. The session addresses neuroarchitecture and intentional design, with real cases that illustrate the impact of spaces on human life.
The session Designing ecosystems, not products is in charge of Ben Diaz (Week and Planet Namec), with a master class aimed at product management and business development professionals about the importance of training skills in System & design thinking and analysis of User journeys, highlighting that professional value lies both in technical competencies and in the ability to identify patterns and needs in workflows and communities.
The Avixa Congress is also the forum for the presentation of the First report on Audiovisual Robotics 2026, in which the Audiovisual Cluster of Catalonia offers trend analysis in robotics applied to the AV sector, with the participation of 3cat to show use cases.
