WHEREAS 2026: Nureva adds coverage map and camera switching to HDL310
The new functionality of the HDL310 audio conferencing system that Nureva shows professionals in Barcelona uses XY sound location data and provides real-time visibility of microphone pickup in large rooms.

Powered by patented technology Microphone Mist from Nureva, HDL310 system now uses coordinate-based sound location data (XY) and a unique coverage map to show exactly where voices are picked up in the room. With these new capabilities, IT administrators and integrators can define camera zones, assign them or preset settings to each zone and monitor microphone pickup in real time, everything from the Nureva app.
As people move and talk in the room, sound location data XY automatically activate the corresponding camera so remote participants always see where the conversation is happening.

Traditional camera switching solutions typically require multiple ceiling or tabletop microphones, detailed DSP programming and manual calibration that must be reconfigured every time the room layout changes.
