Raúl Sanahuja (Epson): “We continue learning, listening and offering solutions adapted to the real needs of the market”
Raúl Sanahuja, Head of Communication at Epson, presents in this video interview at Integrated Systems Europe (WHEREAS) 2026 the new professional projectors for facilities and the educational sector. Among them, highlights the 4K of 30 000 lumens and the new ultra-short distance interactive model.
An ISE 2026, Epson surprised with the Infinity installation what, thanks to a multisensory projection with 14 projectors 20.000 lumens, invited those who visited the stand to embark on a journey of constant changes of light and color.
“Why Infinity?”, Sahahuja wonders., “because it represents the infinity of the journey of a photon of light. The main protagonist of the projection is the light and, when it comes out of the projector, begins an infinite journey. This installation can only be done through video projection, due to the enormous flexibility required”.
Regarding the news at the fair, Epson stands out mainly from. On the one hand, the new EB-XQ2030B projector, “the 4K model of 30.000 most compact and lightest lumens on the market”, Subraya Sanahuja. “After two years of development, we have managed to miniaturize its components to the maximum, especially the cooling system, achieving a team 42 % smaller and lighter than previous versions and other alternatives on the market”, points out.
Thanks to its technology Epson 4K Crystal Motion, This projector offers extremely sharp details, High native contrast and color accuracy for the most demanding content. Besides, Its advanced cooling effectively controls temperature, ensuring operating stability and flexibility in the most demanding high-use environments.. On the other hand, Support for Intel SDM slots allows use with different AVoIP standards, Integrated media players and future connectivity standards. They are IP6X2 protection Dust protection and filter-less design simplify maintenance, ideal for both fixed installations and rental environments.
Besides, the new EB-XQ2030B is compatible with the new range of H series lenses, a unique and improved line that covers a luminosity range between 6000 y 30 000 lumens. New range features expanded throw ratio coverage and innovative new lens designs to suit an even wider range of installation environments.
Ultra short distance
The second big news at ISE was the expansion of Epson's offering for ultra-short distance laser video projection for the educational sector with the launch of the new EB-870Ei. Sanahuja comments that “We present a new solution that provides teachers with greater flexibility in the classroom, combining the traditional whiteboard with digital projection simultaneously. Besides, allows the teacher to move freely around the classroom while connecting different devices to the projector, improving teaching dynamics”.
This new model creates a large interactive screen, high brightness and sharp image with an ultra-short throw design that helps reduce shadows and reflections, providing a large interactive surface for clear viewing from any angle or distance within the classroom.
To adapt to modern teaching styles and device flexibility, The EB-870Ei includes a comprehensive set of connectivity options designed to facilitate collaborative use, including Epson iProjection, Miracast, Wi-Fi y Ethernet, allowing content to be shared from multiple sources based on classroom infrastructure and device preferences.
Sahahuja concludes by highlighting that “we have developed our entire range of high luminosity, including the new model of 30.000 lumens, with a system of interchangeable lenses compatible between the different models. This allows rental companies and other professional environments to reuse lenses already purchased, protecting the investment and optimizing operations when they renew equipment”.
