Vitec deploys IPTV and 600 4K equipment at the Meydan racecourse

Dubai's Meydan Racecourse, first-class venue that has a grandstand of 80.000 seating, luxury suites, restaurants and a five-star hotel, adopts IPTV and digital signage solutions from Vitec as a new multimedia content distribution system.

The project of renewal posed several challenges. Meydan's extensive infrastructure encompasses multiple zones, each one with unique requirements: from VIP suites that require 4K video and personalized content, to public lobbies and hospitality areas requiring robust live streaming and dynamic signage.

Los existing multimedia systems were obsolete and lacked the flexibility, the reliability and performance needed for modern, high-profile events. From a software perspective, Vitec's platform has enabled a distribution of content by zones, real time monitoring y role-based access control, all managed from a single web panel.
