Exterity at ClubMulwala

The luxury resort ClubMulwala has updated the main video distribution system with a digital signage and IPTV solution based on Exterity, controlled by Crestron.

Exterity at ClubMulwalathe ClubMulwala of New South Wales (Australia) has deployed a system of IPTV and digital signage of Exterity to respond to the demands of its customers.

This luxury resort located in the district of Riverina wanted to update its audiovisual facilities with a deployment that responded to the changing expectations and needs of its members. The previous television system was based on an old analog design and only offered standard definition and a limited number of channels.

For the realization of the project, ClubMulwala contacted the company The Avit Group to find a more state-of-the-art and flexible system with integrated digital signage, that will ensure the delivery of information and entertainment to members in the most attractive way.

Exterity at ClubMulwala“The new IPTV system offers great image quality and has proven to be very easy to use, in addition to improving the guest experience”, says Alan Rowe, general manager of ClubMulwala.

The Avit Group updated clubmulwala's core video distribution system with an IPTV solution based on Exterity, which is integrated with a control function of Creston. This allows staff to manage screens and audio equipment through a simple control panel.

TV quality has been updated to Full HD, with the option to deploy 4K if necessary in the future. In addition, each of the 28 Games room screens has for digital signage applications, supported by four dedicated LCD screens in portrait mode that transmit marketing and other promotional messages to visitors.

Exterity at ClubMulwala“The club is in a fairly remote area of Australia and one of the main requirements was reliability and ease of use”, explains Brad Magri, Chief Operating Officer of Avit Group. “We had worked with Exterity on other projects and it has all the features the Club needed, but most importantly, technology has never failed us”.

With the new solution, all management functions are performed from the central platform Exterity AvediaServer with digital signage software ArtioSign. After a short training session given by Avit Group, clubmulwala's facilities team has been able to operate the system independently, including creating your own promotional material without further assistance.

“ClubMulwala is an example of how hoteliers and resorts can go above and beyond to offer engaging guest experiences using a state-of-the-art IPTV system that delivers high-quality video communications across all their facilities”, Jamie March, Exterity sales director for the ANZ zone.
