The software developer Evoluce has launched the WIN&I Media Viewer, that lets you present images and videos using simple hand gestures through Kinect for Windows.

Evoluce has launched the WIN&I Media Viewer with Kinect for Windows, with which users can present images, Videos, PowerPoint slides and PDF pages with a simple hand gesture. WIN&I Media Viewer is one of the first commercial apps for the Kinect for Windows device. Users can display images and videos by navigating through galleries with a simple wave of the hand.

The WIN&I Media Viewer tracks gestures up to a distance of 4 meters from the screen and offers an exciting new way to interact with your PC or display. Users can take a look at photos from the last vacation or present video products in the office. PowerPoint slides and PDF pages can be controlled on any large format display with Kinect for Windows.

Wolfgang Herfurtner, CEO of Evoluce, has indicated: “It's been just five weeks since Microsoft launched Kinect for Windows, and we're already offering easy-to-use UI software., due to the great support of Microsoft. WIN&I Media Viewer is designed for the living room and for sectors such as education, the industry, Health and retail”.

The WIN&I Media Viewer is easy to install and supports many standard image and video formats.
