The new line of 84 inch UltraRes Touch of Planar Systems, now available on the European market, now incorporates the optical glass technology patented by the company together with the resistant Gorilla Glass for Corning, ERO to enhance its durability and performance as multi-touch digital signage in locations with large influx of people.
Among the innovations that the manufacturer Planar Systems It has joined its screen powered by 4 K UltraRes Touch, 84 inches, highlights support up to 32 simultaneous touch points for multiuser applications, both support video wall and multi-touch table.
Precisely for this reason, the company has added to this screen its technology patented optical glass ERO with Gorilla Glass 3 with Native Damage Resistence resistant blade of Corningoffering greater durability and resistance to scratches and continuous curfews for use as digital signage system in public environments with large influx of people.
So Becky Connors, Planar Systems products marketing manager pointed out: "the addition of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 our technology of optical glass ERO improve significantly the performance of the touch screen UltraRes Touch, since increasing the number of contact points needed to provide greater resistance, while we improve public immersive experience." For large public environments, museums, schools, companies, Planar UltraRes Touch offers all the necessary features where the ability to contact helps collaboration group".
ERO Planar technology, the Gorilla Glass 3-blade optically joins the cell of liquid crystal using a process patented by both manufacturers that offers greater durability and high resistance. Both technologies protect against dust and moisture into the system, as well as improving the contrast of the image by removing the air space between the screen and glass.
Gorilla Glass 3 with Native Damage Resistence offers a slimmer design, which contributes to touches errors are reduced without decreasing the touch sensitivity and the response time, as well as greater hardness and consistency to scratches which may cause the glass to break.
In addition, Planar UltraRes Touch has a narrow bezel of 1.3 inches, with a depth of 3.6 inches (vertical and horizontal), thus complying with the American rules ADA for protruding objects in public environments and systems.
With a native 4K resolution (3.840 × 2.160 p), this LCD screen with LED backlight comes standard Planar Mediaplex software, which allows up to eight sources connected directly (four simultaneous in all quadrants Full HD 42 "diagonal), so it is possible to increase scale to cover the entire area of 4 K display.
