The International Festival of Creativity Cannes Lions 2014 was again the setting chosen by Clear Channel Outdoor (CCO), an event which is a sponsor in the category Outdoors Lions five years ago to show professionals the interactive possibilities of digital screens outdoor advertising with mobile technology, with its Connect as a reference platform.
The multinational outdoor advertising Clear Channel Outdoor has taken its Connect platform that combines interactive capacity of outdoor digital displays with mobile technology, the International Festival of Creativity Cannes Lions 2014, held in the French city until next June 21, to show consumers and brands the enormous possibilities of interaction offered.
To do this, the company has installed a large screen on the roof of Le Grand Hotel that integrates Connect, which besides showing dynamics of their partners advertising, users can enjoy an interactive game using their smartphone or tablets, among CCO develops other activities during this festival.

This global platform interactive mobile outdoor advertising Clear Channel, operating in the Spanish market since last May, as reported Digital AV Magazine, Has been integrated into the 75,000 advertising media that CCO has distributed in major cities around the world, in which the logo Connect informs the user that has NFC (Near Field Communication), QR codes and SMS services to access content advertiser interactive through their smartphones, tablet or laptop.
A relevant fact in this edition of the festival, which CCO is an official sponsor of Outdoors Lions for five years, is that for the first time this digital category in the external environment has been placed ahead of the print media, with more than 5,660 candidates participating at the awards.
