More than a thousand Panasonic projectors at the Shanghai Expo
For the first time in history, Panasonic has sold such a high number of projectors for a specific event. The brand's equipment is being used in more than fifty pavilions in the countries present at the Shanghai Exhibition. In total they have been installed 1.048 projectors including 250 DLP de tres chips.
Panasonic projectors are being used in more than fifty pavilions of the countries present at the World Expo taking place in Shanghai (China). Over a thousand units, It is the first time in history that such a high amount of projection equipment has been sold for a specific event.. In total, Panasonic and its global partners sold for the Expo 1.048 projectors, including 250 three-chip DLP projectors and 798 of 1 chip. These projectors are playing a very important role, since they create a visual center for the millions of visitors that the exhibition receives. Many of the units were sold through Panasonic's European partners in the Nordic countries, Germany and Italy as well as through its partner in China. Christian Sokcevic, General Manager Sales and Marketing, Panasonic Audio Visual Systems Europe (AVSE), has stood out “the high profile of the World Expo as the perfect showcase for our range of projectors demonstrating what can be done with our technology. “The installation of Panasonic projectors at the Shanghai Expo has global coverage and we are very proud to be able to bring to life some of the most attractive visual compositions and exhibitions of the event”. Panasonic projectors are being used in more than 54 national flags including Germany, Italia, Japan, New Zealand and Brazil. Besides, The company has established an on-site support and repair center to advise and offer technical help to exhibitors.
