Mitsubishi adds a new monitor 55 inches to its high-end line
Mitsubishi Electric has launched the MDT551S LCD monitor on the market, designed for digital signage, videoconferencing and retail kiosks.
Mitsubishi Electric features a new narrow bezel monitor 55 inches, the MDT551S, focused on videoconferencing, video games, kioscos retail, digital signage and other applications that need robust monitors, long lasting, static or interactive. Brandon Tarnow, brand manager for Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America, has commented: “Our new narrow bezel monitor makes any screen more attractive and vibrant.”. “Mitsubishi has the right size monitor for most applications or locations”.
Installation versatility is designed into all monitors with inputs ranging from DVI-D, D-Sub 15 y HDMI, up to DisplayPort for video and audio transmission over a single cable. Besides, The MDT551S features an optional CAT5 receiver and transmission box. In addition, The monitor uses Mitsubishi networking software for remote management and RJ45 LAN support so that a connected monitor can be controlled from a remote location.
The MDT551S also eliminates cable clutter. Optional CAT5 receiver keeps image quality consistent, even with cable lengths of up to 150 metros. RS-485 serial video and control signals can be supplied over the same CAT5 cable, so a standard control cable is not necessary. So, Up to three monitors can be connected in series.
Mitsubishi's new MDT551S monitor even offers single-screen interactivity- and optional multi-touch. The monitor recognizes up to 36 different action points, including touch, gestures or pressing.
