HP has presented its new HP Photon Engine solution, capable of reproducing 3D content on surfaces, allowing manufacturing companies, moda, automotive and retail create 3D experiences and improve customer acquisition.
HP has presented its new 3D product offering, among which is the new HP Photon Engine solution, which is capable of reproducing 3D content on surfaces, enabling businesses to transform the way they interact with data and customers. Based on research conducted by HP Labs, This new solution allows you to view 3D content regardless of the screen size, nor the distance at which we are located, or the lighting of the room and the viewing angles in which we are located.
Salvador Cayon, HP Personal Systems Marketing Director, has indicated that “HP is taking the 3D experience to a higher level by innovating in all its products and achieving image capture and interpretation by projecting it on large surfaces. Photon Engine projects precise points of light on any surface that graphically generate images, either in 2D or 3D format”.

The HP Photon Engine solution enables industries such as manufacturing, moda, automotive and retail create 3D experiences and applications that serve as support for customer decision making. The fashion house Marchesa has recently used this solution to present its spring collection of 2012 in 3D to a select audience of buyers, editors and industry experts during New York Fashion Week.
Keren Craig, co-founder of Marchesa, has assured that “The clarity of the images is absolutely stunning and brings a new dimension to the shopping experience. Photon Engine software generates images with maximum resolution, minimizing eye strain. This also allows the creation of realistic 3D images with ambient light, visible from any angle”.
