This new content management solution will make it easy to display incredible high-resolution images on multi-screen media or mosaic-like digital canvases.

Christie announced this Tuesday during the ISE fair (Integrated Systems Europe) in Amsterdam the official launch of Christie JumpStart. A new content management solution that will make it easy to display incredible high-resolution images on multi-screen media or mosaic digital canvases.

Christie JumpStart is aimed at the architecture market, like museums, universities, stadiums, company headquarters and stores that require reliable, high-resolution content playable on large-format video walls. But it will also benefit event assembly and rental companies due to its speed and ease of installation and because it offers compatibility with the most atypical screen configurations..

Simplicity and speed

Richard Heslett, product manager for Christie's Business Products division, has highlighted that this solution “can be used with digital displays with up to four inputs and is the perfect companion for small and medium-sized Christie MicroTiles video walls, giving customers the ability to get the most out of MicroTiles displays”.

By combining easy-to-use JumpStart software with reliable hardware like HP, Christie JumpStart allows users to place and play a wide variety of content such as video, graphics, applications, movies on Blu-ray and DVD, remote video sources, color and text samples.

When used in conjunction with Christie MicroTiles, Christie JumpStart communicates directly with the master External Control Unit (ECU) and automatically detects the best resolution for the MicroTiles canvas, regardless of wiring size or configuration. Besides, shows the location of each quadrant of the mosaic to make inserting content a breeze.
