NEC adds a display of 55 inches to the P series large screen family

NEC Display Solutions has unveiled the latest addition to its P series, the P552 professional display 55 inches, offering a premium solution for digital signage applications.

NEC Display Solutions has announced the incorporation of a model of 55 inches to its range of large P-series displays. The P552 is a professional quality LCD display, industrial strength, intended to operate 24/7 in places such as quick service restaurants, airports, public information media, health centers and retail stores. This model includes robust thermal protection and internal temperature sensors with self-diagnostic and fan-based technology to prevent overheating.

The P552 has been enhanced with Open Pluggable Specification technology (OPS), digital capabilities through loop, reduced depth, reduction of energy consumption by 10 percent and built-in speakers 10 watts. OPS-compatible expansion slot adheres to Intel's specification that aims to standardize and simplify digital signage installations.
