Innovative digital display developer Prysm has unveiled the company's first interactive displays that offer multi-touch and gesture recognition capabilities.. Powered by revolutionary Laser Phosphor Display technology (LPD) de Prysm, new solutions support a wide variety of interactive commands including gesture recognition, touch on screen, remote touch and touch panel input, separately or simultaneously.

The manufacturer of laser phosphor displays Prysm has presented new interactive display solutions. LPD technology uses laser to scan the surface of the screen, and the matches create the image. This process is very respectful with the environment, using only 30 watts per 25 video wall tile″ and 75 percent less electricity than traditional LCD and projection displays.

The company has developed a curved video wall 8×4 remote control and multi-touch enabled. This allows users to manipulate content from any distance, a capability that is a perfect fit for use in retail environments, corporate, broadcast and command and control. The entire display requires only half the energy of a domestic hair dryer., meaning it can be powered by a standard outlet.

blankIt also has a TD1 2 digital tile kiosk×5, with interactive multi-touch and gesture input capabilities. The complete solution requires only 320 watts of power, emits minimal heat, and is available in various supports to simplify integration with existing infrastructure. And Prysm can 'package' gesture and touch technology into any of its pre-configured display supports., as well as integrate end-user applications and technologies into custom configurations and installations.

Steve Scorse, Vice President of Prysm in EMEA, has commented that “The combination of Prysm's LPD technology and interactivity is ideal as the small seam gap and ultra-wide 178° viewing angle mean the entire display can be interactive, even from off-axis positions. The scalability of Prysm technology means video walls can be created in a variety of shapes and sizes to engage audiences.. And the inclusion of interactivity takes Prysm displays to a new level of audience immersion.. “
