Sony shows its new hybrid camera solution at the SICUR fair
Sony is exhibiting the new Ipela Hybrid cameras at the 18th edition of the SICUR fair (Model SNC-ZB550), whose most outstanding feature is the dual transmission of analog and high definition IP video over coaxial cable, as well as its optimal performance in extreme backlight situations, thanks to View technology – DR.
Sony has led to SICUR 2012 the new SNCZB550 hybrid camera with coaxial output, allowing analog and IP HD video to be sent over the already installed coaxial cable, while facilitating a progressive migration of systems with minimal impact on the existing installation. It is a fixed angle camera capable of offering HD resolution images (1280×1024) using an Exmore CMOS type sensor 1/3 that provides 1,3 megapixels, with a minimum illumination of 0,5 lux in color and 0,3 lux black and white.
These new Sony hybrid cameras can offer IP functionality over coaxial cable, as well as analog SD images with near zero transmission latency for real-time surveillance applications. Hybrid technology also exceeds Ethernet specifications allowing 1.000 feet of cable to operate with virtually no image degradation and no need for translators or other applications that require costly infrastructure upgrades. Besides, This also allows those who require real-time images for their applications to expand the capacity.
The new line of Ipela Hybrid solutions offers multi-codec flexibility -H.264, MPEG4 or JPEG along with dual-analog streaming; Day function / Night where the IR cut filter is replaced with clarity mode one at night to work with infrared illuminators; the DEPA (Distributed Enhanced Processing Architecture) Enables advanced analytics support to trigger alarms based on predetermined parameters when used in conjunction with Sony DEPA-enabled software and network recorders; Obstacle detection feature that detects changes in the video field such as when the lens is sprayed with paint or obscured; Onvif compliance; and optimal performance in extreme backlight situations thanks to View – DR technology.
