Adobe has launched the industry's first fully integrated video technology platform, codenamed Project Primetime, to enable seamless experiences, TV style for ad-based videos on all types of web-connected devices.

Adobe has presented its “Project Primetime”, a platform that integrates innovative video technology to allow TV-like experiences in videos for advertising through different devices connected to the Web. This new solution is intended for platforms such as Apple iOS, Google Android, desktop operating systems and Internet-connected televisions.

“Primetime” creates a workflow that interfaces with streaming technologies, content protection, Adobe analysis and optimization, with the Auditude advertising video platform, recently acquired by Adobe. This integration allows video providers to offer customers a viewing experience through the seamless insertion of dynamic advertising into any type of content..

David Wadhwani, senior vice president of the Digital Media Business Unit at Adobe, explained that “Adobe's new video technology platform is transforming the way advertising and video content are served and consumed.”. Project Primetime gives media companies a solution to seamlessly deliver and monetize their content on both tablets and mobile phones., televisions and computers, while offering better consumer experiences over IP”.

This new publishing offering integrates a web-based video editor, with the Adobe Auditude advertising platform, to create and monetize video clips live and in real time. Video producers can deliver ad-based clips and make them available instantly, still in full swing of an event, making content more immediate and less expensive to produce. Clips can be delivered via an Adobe-provided video player within an existing mobile app or embedded in a website.. Primetime Highlights enables a continuous viewing experience comparable to broadcast television with streaming content and advertising transitions.
