A video mapping in the Alcázar of Segovia commemorates the 150 anniversary of the fire 1862
The Alcázar of Segovia has been the scene of a video-musical show that commemorates the 150 anniversary of the great fire that devastated the fortress.
Sitting majestically on a cliff rising above the old city, The Alcázar of Segovia is one of the most characteristic castle-palaces in Spain. Originally built as a fortress, It has been used as a royal palace, state prison, Royal College of Artillery and military academy. However, in March 1862, The Alcázar was seriously damaged by a fire and it took many years to rebuild this emblematic building of the Castilian city..
Segovia has recently commemorated the 150 anniversary of this devastating fire with an impressive audiovisual show developed by the company specialized in offering audiovisual communication services, Audiovisual Combo, which has prepared for the occasion a video mapping with images of the history of the emblematic Segovian monument. To carry out the projection on the walls of the Alcázar, The Madrid firm has used an XLM-HD25 projector Barco.
