HP has unveiled two new offerings that will facilitate the rapid adoption of unified communications solutions that will help customers accelerate improvements in productivity and responsiveness. New offerings include HP AppSystem for Microsoft Lync, a turnkey platform designed to streamline unified communications deployments, and a multimedia communications solution (RMC) de HP y Polycom to optimize visual collaboration.

HP AppSystem for Microsoft Lync is a unified communications platform built on the HP Converged Platform. The solution is pre-configured to enable rapid deployment of Microsoft Lync, enabling customers to improve employee collaboration, partners and clients. This offer also includes evaluation services, Implementation and support to help ensure the platform is up and running quickly.

Integrated solution is designed to reduce implementation time and costs by offering comprehensive testing that ensures interoperability in a multi-vendor environment. Combined with knowledge of HP services, HP AppSystem for Microsoft Lync enables customers to achieve faster time to value, in addition to:

– Get enhanced collaboration with Polycom Real Presence video solutions and Polycom Real Presence Collaboration Server, to provide presence-based virtual meeting rooms.

– Reduce costs with extensive public switched telephone network connectivity options, eliminating the need for expensive fee interfaces. And those options include advanced SIP Trunks from solutions provider ACME Packet, that allow external communications over IP, as well as an Audiocodes Mediant portal, offering time division multiplexing connectivity with a customer's existing legacy infrastructure.
