The Finnish company MultiTouch, specialized in multi-touch technology, has expanded its portfolio of solutions for museums with a new interactive wall and a MultiTaction display with integrated table, as well as new applications for its MultiTaction Cell interactive multi-touch screens.

MultiTouch has incorporated new features to its MultiTaction Cell interactive multi-touch screens, which now include new augmented reality applications, a large-scale MultiTaction wall that supports an unlimited number of users, and a software development kit (SDK) Cornerstone that responds to the specific needs of museums and permanent exhibitions.

The MultiTouch product catalog also includes an interactive wall of 8 feet wide and 4 feet high and a 55” MultiTaction display with integrated table.

Timo Korpela, director general de MultiTouch, has pointed out: “Museum experience is especially well suited for multi-touch applications, that engage visitors in an interactive dialogue with the themes and stories shown. Museums present new information and new perspectives on life, and we are able to create new worlds with multi-touch applications that make exhibitions come to life in new ways, especially through augmented reality and interaction with real-life objects.”
