Kazunori Kobayashi, General Manager of Yamaha Pro Audio Division, has explained: “As developers of professional audio equipment and musical instruments, Our mission at Yamaha is to provide the best sound quality in all the environments where people enjoy music. The commercial installation market is quite new for us, We believe that this market is very important because it provides us with the opportunity to offer sound and music to more customers.. In the same way that we have brought new values to the sound reinforcement and large installation markets, “We look forward to providing customers with commercially installed sound with cutting-edge technologies and a new approach to sound system design.”
MTX Series Matrix Processors
The MTX series of matrix processors is made up of two models with different DSP and expansion capabilities; MTX3 y MTX5-D. MTX processors come equipped with a variety of programmable features designed to maximize the performance of sound systems in commercial installations., such as Feedback Suppressor, Automatic gain control, Priority regulator, Ambient noise compensator, as well as Reverb and Echo effect processors. MTX processors also include the newly developed YDIF digital transmission format, which provides audio 16 channels and clock signal transmission using a standard CAT5 Ethernet cable, as well as an SD card slot for playback of MP3/WAV files stored on an SD memory card. MTX5-D processors come equipped with an integrated Dante network port and MY card slot for greater expandability and functionality in larger facility applications.
DCP Controllers, offering greater flexibility, provide external control of various functions, how to reactivate presets, SD card levels and playback, while iPhone or iPod touch users can download the newly developed Wireless DCP application, offering remote control through intuitive use of either Apple device. Also available are EXi8 input and EXi8 output expanders that can be controlled remotely from an MTX processor via YDIF using a standard Ethernet cable..
Amplifiers about the power of XMV
XMV multi-channel power amplifiers combine Class D efficiency with features designed specifically for the benefit of commercially installed sound systems. The series consists of four different models with different power output capabilities and flexible input/output connectivity to adapt to a wide variety of installation environments.. XMV Power Amplifiers, of great versatility, can operate in high impedance modes (line of 100 V/70 V) or low impedance (8 Ω/4 Ω) simultaneously, simply selecting the preferred mode using the rear panel rocker switches. Dual power mode function, newly developed, doubles the power of selected channels to drive speakers with higher output power. Additionally, A new patent-pending circuit increases the efficiency level of the amplifier's output phase to more than 90%, switching the circuit to match the corresponding output voltage.
Surface and Ceiling Mount Speakers
VXS Series surface mount speakers and VXC Series in-ceiling speakers feature newly customized drivers with large, powerful magnetic circuits for increased driving and stopping power., as well as dedicated tweeter diaphragms and speaker cone paper created from a careful blend of materials that help optimize sound reproduction. Boxes are manufactured to meet the demands of a wide variety of commercial environments, They are constructed of high-quality plastic with ideal tensile strength and designed with an optimized bass reflex setting to deliver a solid, firm low frequency..
Additionally, Each model has an internal transformer that allows for high and low impedance driving with just one speaker*, selectable by simply flipping the designated switch. Speakers in both series are available in black or white and can be painted to match any interior if required.
The VXC series is provided in three different woofer sizes, offers the flexibility to fit a wide range of needs and allows system configurations to be tailored to specific applications. Besides, feature an integrated anti-drop tab that allows temporary mounting to the ceiling for improved safety and ease of installation, as well as a flexible carrying band that makes it easy to transport several speakers at once.
The VXS series features two full-range, IP45-rated models for indoor and outdoor applications and two subwoofers designed for use in sound systems requiring well-defined bass.. Models of the entire VXS range, which feature a dedicated bracket for secure and hassle-free speaker installation, can be mounted temporarily, allowing you to free your hands to adjust mounting angles. The subwoofers also feature brackets for quick and easy mounting.
