Plustek joins OptiVisus for the Iberian market
The Portuguese company OptiVisus, dedicated to the distribution of telecommunications and ISDN systems, will market Plustek security products in the Iberian Peninsula, firm specialized in communication and image solutions.
The manufacturer of network video recorders (NVR) and digital network video recorders (nDVR), Plustek, has announced its new collaboration with Optivisus to market its range of security products in Spain and Portugal. OptiVisus is a firm in the ITC market that is dedicated to importing, distribution and service of closed TV systems, IP, network and equipment for ISDN/ADSL and cable.
With the agreement reached with Plustek, OptiVisus will strengthen its offer. From their ranks, Silvio Almeida has declared: “We are very happy with this alliance with Plustek for the distribution of its security products., since OptiVisus's strength lies in IP recording solutions. This will consolidate our line of business and our brand value”.
Plustek's offer in this sector is very broad. Includes security solutions ranging from NVR to video servers, going through Mobile NVR, nDVR and hybrid systems. The company is now focused on driving its market towards recordings on IP networks with great scalability and flexibility. Thus, The agreement with OptiVisus has great relevance for its action in the markets of Spain and Portugal.
Denny Chou, Plustek's Sales Director for Europe has stated that “OptiVisus is a well-known company in the video surveillance sector in Spain and Portugal.. And that will help us when it comes to establishing ourselves as a security brand in these markets”.
