D-Link expands its line of mydlink cloud cameras with the new DCS-5222L model

D-Link, global provider of networking and communications solutions for consumers and businesses, has added the new DCS-5222L camera to its catalog, a Wi-Fi N Day/Night IP camera with HD resolution that allows viewing angles of up to 340º with Pan movement&Tilt&Power zoom. Besides, facilitates full control of the device directly from the cloud using mydlink technology from a PC/Mac or iPhone/iPad/Android.

D-Link has announced the expansion of its line of mydlink cloud cameras with the new model DCS-5222L, a WiFi N Day/Night IP camera with HD resolution that allows you to cover a field of view of up to 340º thanks to its motorized PTZ housing (Pan&Tilt&Zoom) with vertical/horizontal rotation capability and x4 digital zoom. Viewing can be done remotely from PC/Mac on the mydlink portal or from iPhone/iPad/Android with the free mydlink lite application.

Using the latest advances in monitoring technology, This new Cloud Camera from D-Link is a versatile solution for home and SME video surveillance. Equipped with infrared lighting (AND) from up to 5 metros, The sensor and advanced image filters allow you to see night and day images with the highest degree of sharpness. Besides, The DCS-5222L has a microSD slot for recording images and video sequences, which can also be viewed remotely from the portal or the mydlink application.

Its powerful Wi-Fi wireless technology, compatible with the 802.11n standard and WPS security, Allows easy installation anywhere. Configuration is equally simple thanks to the wizard included on the installation CD, that completes the process in a few steps without requiring technical knowledge on the part of the user. With the camera running, live images and sound can be accessed or monitored through the portal mydlink from a PC/Mac, or with the free mydlink lite app from an iPhone, iPad o Android. For Tablets there is an additional version of this application “mydlink+”, that allows simultaneous viewing of up to 4 cameras.

In addition to being able to access the image and sound of the camera from anywhere, It is possible to program it to send images to the user's email with two options: by time (with the interval we want) or when the camera detects movement for extra security. This way we can see what is happening every time we check the email.
