Numerous brands are trying to create virtual testers to promote their products, but in most cases they are in the absence of a certain lack of realism. In Brazil, the Natura cosmetics brand has achieved, thanks to the ID-TBWA agency, create a mirror with which Brazilians can do makeup tests in a totally realistic way without staining their skin.

Brazilian cosmetics brand Natura, by the hand of the agency ID-TBWA, has launched an innovative campaign that leverages augmented reality technology to offer women a practical way to test their products. As published in The Journal Informa BTL, what they've done is install, in the bathrooms of a popular Sao Paulo restaurant, a mirror equipped with Kinect technology that offers a virtual sampling experience of the Natura Una makeup line.

The touch-sensitive display is connected to a Kinect camera and allows potential consumers, using augmented reality, test the whole makeup line using your hands directly on your skin without dirtying your face. The campaign will be available until 19 August.
