Telelogos will be present at the Equipmag fair 2012 and will launch the latest version of its digital signage software Media4Display. during the show, The French firm will present two important innovations to accompany the digitalization of points of sale: Interactive digital signage with mobile users and delivering personalized messages to shoppers.

The software development company of French origin Telelogues will present the new version of its digital signage software Media4Display at the Equipmag show, which will be held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles between the 11 and the 13 September. Telelogos has chosen this contest, dedicated to the most innovative solutions for the creation of points of sale and retail, to officially launch this new version of Media4Display, and introduces two important innovations for digital communication at points of sale.

A new interface, new administrative services, business intelligence integration, and the innovative remote control are grouped in this new version of Media4Display, Telelogos digital signage software that offers new features to improve performance and ease of use. Digital signage centralizes content management and creation, along with scheduling and targeting of messages. Campaigns can also be broadcast on a network of remote screens (with each screen controlled by a PC player).

Telelogos will show this software application and the new features of the Version 3 at its Equipmag stand (G41):

A redesigned interface:
• The interface has been redesigned for greater ease of use and to meet the expectations of agencies and communication departments.
• The new function “drag and drop” makes it much easier to manage content and quickly insert media into a slide or media sequence.
• The new function “copy-paste” allows you to duplicate a slide or sequence to save time when designing campaigns.
• Design tools have been improved to improve the slide design process (multimedia assembly).
• He “Full screen mode” allows you to clearly see how the slides are represented.
• A control panel allows you to view and control the activity of all remote players and displays (on 24 hours, a week or a month)

Innovations and new features:
• Using the API (Application Programming Interface) Various decision-making criteria can be incorporated (recommendations) in selecting the media that will be displayed. It is further enhanced by the inclusion of a ruleset and a rules editor. These features allow you to connect the digital signage to a decision-making system to display personalized content (For example, with a double screen display at the point of sale register, Specific products could be promoted based on the profile information associated with the customer's loyalty card, etc)
• Controlling and selecting the content to be displayed can also be delegated to local contributors (until 10 hierarchical levels: national, regional, departmental, locales, etc)
• The software architecture can be adapted to the security policies and update capacity of IS departments in SMEs and large enterprises (A group of servers can be installed to improve load balancing in the distribution of campaigns to remote screens and/or ensure high availability of the server)
• It has an innovative control tool: the use of features “remote control” to control screens with a smartphone, tablet o PC. Connected to the local network of players and displays (WIFI, LAN, etc), this remote control allows:
-put screens on hold or wake them up
-control selection of media displays (For example: an alarm)
-activate an action (simple programs and sequences)
-launch a reboot or screen sync
Using remote control, a department head can, For example, personalize the promotional messages broadcast on the screens located in that department.

On the other hand, the Version 3 by Media4Display provides mobile device users with two ways to interact with the information available on digital signage screens located at points of sale:
• When scanning the QR code of a product using a smartphone, a customer can obtain additional information about that product instantly on a screen. Once product information is communicated to the customer, the screen returns to the normal display loop dynamics. This feature provides a greater customer experience within the store.
• A department or store employee can instantly modify the content of digital signage on point-of-sale displays using a touch screen. This application allows, For example, direct very specific promotions at certain times of the day (“the right content to the right person at the right time”). This function allows you to increase the responsiveness of the media.

Yves Clisson, president of Telelogos, has explained: “since 30 For years we have developed software dedicated to the world of retail to ensure the transfers and synchronization of critical data. This new version of our Media4Display digital signage software naturally fits into the continuity of our business based on our historical experience in data mobility and synchronization.”
