The well-known American lingerie brand Victoria's Secret has opened an outlet on London's busy New Bond Street (United Kingdom) which has a huge video wall made up of 30 Sharp displays supplied by brand experience creator PlayNetwork.
PlayNetwork has created a multi-media in-store customer experience for lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret at its new New Bond Street flagship store in London. The bespoke technology supplied by PlayNetwork includes a video wall consisting of 30 screens of Sharp which can be controlled remotely from any smart device including iPad, iPhone y tablets.
The store's furniture and accessories have been specially designed to enhance digital experiences. The focal point of the store design is a mirror that reflects animations from the LCD HD video wall. Video walls are integrated into the store installation (For example, in cash and packaging payment areas), to complement the ambience and design of the store. Content is updated regularly including live broadcasts of the latest shows, ensuring that every visit to the store is a new experience.
Audio content complements the digital environment with a fun feel throughout the store including the Pink brand department. Discreet speakers are calibrated with three custom volume settings, depending on the time of day, which are controlled by store staff.
Dharmendra Patel, Marketing Director of PlayNetwork EMEA, has pointed out: “Working with Victoria's Secret and using this type of technology normally reserved for military installations, has given them the opportunity to paint a canvas with any content they choose and then integrate it with their various channels for a consistent customer experience. Brands like Victoria's Secret understand that in the brand's stores they must create a feeling of excitement and exclusivity that complements their brand values.. ”
The backbone of the graphic elements of video walls has been provided by video cards Matrox that have been installed on PCs supplied by Trenton. Sharp has provided the screens for the large video wall while Samsung has taken care of the screens of the smallest video walls, as well as shop window displays. Among the companies that have participated in the project are Apologue, AV and C, BSS Audio, Cisco, Crestron, Matrox, Nexcom, Samsung, Sharp, SoundTube, Tannoy y Trenton Systems.
