projectiondesign launches the new DLP 3D projector 3 chips F85
The Norwegian company projectiondesign has launched the new DLP projector 3 F85 chips for large or small screen applications. Delivers active or passive 3D to up to 120 Hz, , as well as guaranteed color accuracy and modular I/O and image processing.
The DLP projector 3 chips F85 is the latest projector with 2D and 3D capability that joins the innovative line of projectors from projectiondesign. With a complete set of features designed for the most demanding applications, The F85 is the brightest projector in the projectiondesign range. The projector has a brightness of up to 11.000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 14.000:1 for sharp, detailed images. The projector is available in WUXGA or 1080p resolution versions, as well as a special version that can optically switch between REC709 and DCI P7 color spaces. Incorporates color saturation and precision, optional image processing and connectivity to any installation space.
Anders Løkke, director de Marketing de projectiondesign, has commented: “performance, the versatility, connectivity, Brightness and low cost of ownership were our goals when creating the new F85. The F85 supports a wide range of inputs and outputs, including X-PORT module connectivity and bandwidth, which expands the markets in which it can be used, including rental and staging, live events, tourist attractions, advanced visualization and simulation and training”.
In addition to 2D images, The projector can be used in active or passive stereoscopic 3D mode eliminating the need to use multiple projectors in stereoscopic configuration. The F85 can display sequential 3D up to 120 Hz, as well as convert any input signal to 120 Hz with the X-PORT DCC120, and combine two input streams to a single stream.
Accurate color calibration
The projector benefits from Advanced Color Optical Processing (ACOP), combining fixed and motorized optical filters to enable optical calibration with almost infinite precision and without any bit depth loss. When combined with projectiondesign's RealColor color management system, ACOP ensures in-situ color calibration with the performance necessary to achieve any desired color level.
The projector is available with a comprehensive set of optical lenses for a wide range of focal lengths ensuring it responds to the most challenging installations and architectures.. Lenses incorporate user-adjustable optical color processing filters. The unit uses projectiondesign's DuArch dual lighting architecture for high performance and long lamp life and with a brightness of 400W, The F85 ensures the brightest possible imaging.
In addition to its installation flexibility, the unit weighs only 24,1 kilos. The dual-lamp optical engine with “hot swap” Enables fail-safe operation for critical applications. Like the rest of projectiondesign models, The F85 is compatible with ProNet software for control, Network-based monitoring and calibration. Designed for performance 24/7, The F85 has been designed for continuous operation in applications where predictable cost of ownership is a requirement.
