The reliability derived from LED Ring models highlights the ability to reduce the risk of malfunctions, Durable material for reduced fatigue and improved protection for signal block outputs. Ring LEDs use special circuitry to operate off standard phantom power, as two separate wires carrying electrical voltage and providing additional protection to the audio signal.

Modular Plus series interface module connects high quality gooseneck to phantom power supply, adding flexibility to all mounting modules. Self-cleaning connector is reliable, discreet and safe – allowing for simplified and cost-effective microphone replacement. Goosenecks test themselves under extreme circumstances, bending and twisting in extreme shapes, guaranteeing its quality and flexibility.

Thomas Giczy, AKG Installed Sound and Conference Business Development Manager, has pointed out: “The Discreet Acoustics Modular Plus Series is a testament to AKG's continued offering of the best in sound in any microphone application.. The variety offered through the Modular Plus series, from power to mounting and capsule modules, is the best in its class and will provide optimal audio for video conferencing or presentations around the world”.

Fixed and mobile installation

The CK43 supercardioid condenser capsule offers users a pickup angle of 95 degrees, ideal for situations where unwanted noise pickup is a concern. The CK49 is a reference condenser capsule with a pickup 80 degrees, with clean off-axis response. It is ideal for use with inexperienced speakers, focusing on the voice when the speaker is far away, and reducing the pop if you get closer to the microphone.

The AKG gooseneck GN155M is a 155 cm with a strong anti-shock mounting bracket that works perfectly as a stand-alone unit or on stages situated in front of a large cluster of instruments or speakers. HM1000M is a reference suspension module used to hang microphones from the ceiling to record or reinforce music or speech in worship spaces, theaters or conference rooms.

AKG PAE M reference power module offers phantom power for fixed and mobile installation, providing an XLR connector 3 gold plated pin. Wide voltage range fits most microphone mixers. PAESP M is a programmable power module for fixed and mobile installation, Equipped with a single binary decimal coded switch to remember operating modes. The PAESP M's microphone mute switch reduces its noise level 26 dB, avoiding the irritating crackling sound when phantom power is interrupted. The M PAE5 provides a 5 pins allowing the audio signal and core voltage to be powered separately.

The four different power modules, The five mounting modules and three capsule modules combine for a total of 60 different microphone combinations.
